Founded in the 1960s by a Dutch community, El Atabal is a peaceful residential haven that blends historical European charm with an authentic local atmosphere. This exceptionally quiet neighborhood offers a serene lifestyle, just minutes away from Málaga’s vibrant city center. 

The Property

This is a detached private villa located in the exclusive El Atabal residential area (Suriname Street). It is perfectly positioned near the city center while being only a 15-minute drive from Guadalmar beach. This is not a standard rental property; it is the owners' primary residence, meaning it is a fully furnished, high-end "home" equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and authentic stay. The house features a prime south-facing orientation, ensuring natural light throughout the day.

Direct Management

The property is rented and managed directly by the owners, ensuring a personal touch and no agency fees.

Pricing & Conditions

  • Monthly Rent: €5,000.
  • All-Inclusive Rate: The price includes community fees, electricity, water, a weekly cleaning service, and 600Mb high-speed fiber internet (please consult for specific terms on included utilities).
  • Security Deposit: €5,000.
  • Requirements: Proof of financial solvency is required, or alternatively, full upfront payment for the stay.

Outdoor & Luxury Features

  • Saltwater Pool: Equipped with a counter-current swimming system. For safety, a protective barrier can be installed upon request for families with small children.
  • Decks: Elegant patios featuring premium Ipe wood flooring.
  • Garden Oasis: Includes a private Jacuzzi, a specialized "scaffold-style" hammock, and a designer swing chair.
  • Technology & Sustainability: Automated irrigation system, solar panels, and a comprehensive video alarm security system. 
  • The villa is home to two friendly cats who primarily live in the garden and outdoor areas. However, they are accustomed to the house and may occasionally come indoors. Please consider this if you have allergies or specific preferences regarding pets.

Main Residence
Ground Floor Layout

  • Main Living Space: 150 m² of meticulously designed living area.
  • Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
  • Living Area: A bright living room featuring a dedicated reading lounge.
  • Kitchen Terrace: A glass-enclosed terrace adjacent to the kitchen, surrounded by the garden. It is truly the heart of the home.
  • Climate Control: Underfloor heating throughout the entire residence, including the terrace, complemented by air conditioning in all main areas.
  • Sunroom: A beautiful glass-enclosed porch connected to the living room

Guest Flexible Apartment

  • Space: A 50 m² lower-ground floor apartment, connected to the main residence via an internal staircase and also accessible directly through the garden.
  • Layout: The apartment features one bathroom, a living area (currently used as a home gym/sports area), a dining room, and one bedroom.
  • Amenities: This space does not include a kitchen but is equipped with a refrigerator and a television.
  • Flexibility: We offer full flexibility to adapt and reconfigure this space to suit the tenant's specific needs or preferences.  
  • Interior Style: Finished in a classic basic décor style.

Plot & Parking Facilities

  • Plot Size: The property sits on a spacious 750 m² plot.
  • On-site Parking: Private garage with an automatic gate for one vehicle. Additionally, there are several convenient parking spaces available right outside the house.
  • Exclusive City Center Parking: As a unique benefit, a private parking space in Málaga’s historic center is provided free of charge. This is available every afternoon and evening (Monday to Friday) and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Transportation Bonus:  two bicycles

To ensure seamless communication and a personalized experience, we provide assistance in English, French, Italian, and Portuguese, in addition to Spanish. We also have a basic command of German.
